Role Overview
The Manual PM Supervisor at the Auckland Distribution Centre is responsible for overseeing manual put away, picking, and storage workflows to ensure they are executed with accuracy, safety, and efficiency. This role involves guiding a team to meet operational goals, maintaining quality standards, and collaborating with different departments to promote continuous improvement and exceptional service delivery.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee and ensure proper manual procedures are followed for put away, picking, and storage tasks.
- Lead the manual operations team, focusing on their performance, resourcing needs, and minimizing processing exceptions.
- Carry out support activities accurately within set timelines, participating in team meetings and improvement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with internal departments to resolve operational issues, enhance processes, and sustain strong cooperative relationships.
- Maintain and enforce health, safety, and compliance requirements, including active OHS involvement, incident reporting, and adherence to applicable regulations.
- Ensure the tidiness of manual storage zones and accuracy of inventory records.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated leadership experience within warehouse manual operations.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, alongside effective team management capabilities.
- Capability to oversee workflows, maintain data accuracy, and complete tasks promptly.
- Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations and legislative requirements.
- Commitment to nurturing collaborative working relationships and driving continuous improvement.
- Strong dedication to maintaining consistent standards of quality, safety, and operational excellence.
Working Hours and Location
The position requires working from Monday to Friday, from 1:30 pm to 11:00 pm, totaling 45 hours weekly. The worksite is based in Wiri, Auckland.
