About the Role

Hamim is a Saudi technology start-up based in Jeddah that offers mobile car-washing services for individuals and corporate fleet clients. We seek a hands-on Managing Director responsible for overall leadership including profit & loss, cash flow, operations, personnel management, and sustainable, profitable growth. You will report directly to the top holding company executives, working within board-approved plans to execute business goals and city expansions. The role requires frequent travel within Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive financial outcomes by managing budgeting, forecasting, pricing strategies, working capital, and cash flows. Enhance profitability and contribution margin per wash differentiated by service, contract, and city.
• Lead field operations by collaborating with washers, supervisors, and city teams to improve workforce utilization, optimize dispatch schedules and routes, and increase average washes per washer daily, while maintaining safety and service quality.
• Boost profitable growth by escalating customer acquisition, retention, subscription models, and customer payback timelines. Develop robust B2B fleet contracts and oversee collections.
• Manage city expansion by validating demand, executing launches per approved plans, and handling staffing, training, equipment readiness, and post-launch monitoring.
• Build accountable teams, establish practical SOPs, ensure dependable operational reporting, and maintain effective booking, dispatch, and payment systems.
• Ensure execution excellence and governance by investigating operational issues firsthand, applying corrective measures, and transparently reporting outcomes and risks to holding company leadership.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated P&L ownership in business or business units with a record of profitability and cash flow improvement.
• Experienced senior leader in car washing, automotive services, mobile or field operations, fleet management, logistics, last-mile delivery, or analogous distributed service industries. Direct car-wash experience is beneficial; insights from adjacent sectors are also valuable.
• Strong understanding of workforce productivity, capacity use, service cost management, pricing models, customer economics, and B2B commercial negotiations.
• A dedicated owner mindset characterized by proactive problem-solving, meticulous attention to detail, resourcefulness, urgency balanced with discipline, and readiness to support frontline teams hands-on.
• Preferred background includes leadership roles within technology startups or scale-ups, notably in on-demand platforms, marketplaces, mobility, or logistics sectors, with proven collaboration with product and engineering teams to leverage technology and data for operational improvements. Experience with multi-city launches and frequent travel in Saudi Arabia is advantageous.
• Familiarity with the Saudi market and fluency in professional Arabic and English is preferred.

First 90 Days Plan

Set a reliable financial and operational foundation, evaluate current city performance and team capabilities, then seek approval for a targeted sustainability plan. Define measurable goals for contribution margins, cash flow, productivity, retention, service reliability, and expansion within approved scope.
