About the Role

KPMG's Valuation Services team specializes in delivering independent, reliable valuation insights that help clients make informed strategic decisions. These valuations support transactions, acquisitions, joint ventures, shareholder resolutions, investments, and obligations related to tax, regulatory, and financial reporting.

As part of the broader Deal Advisory and Infrastructure group, our team combines expertise with a collaborative culture focused on delivering high-impact results and fostering professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead valuation projects end-to-end, ensuring successful execution and positive client outcomes.
• Engage in business development activities such as proposal preparation and internal initiatives to grow our valuation offerings.
• Utilize data analytics, simulations, and visualization tools to address complex valuation and financial modelling challenges.
• Identify critical performance metrics and value drivers across diverse companies, industries, and transactions.
• Prepare insightful valuation reports that clearly explain assumptions, methodologies, and findings with a balance of commercial and technical perspectives.
• Develop, analyze, and interpret financial models for businesses and projects.
• Apply critical thinking to detect issues and collaborate with colleagues throughout Deal Advisory.
• Communicate directly with clients to grasp business performance, forecast cash flows, and key valuation influences, while building long-term relationships.
• Implement both traditional and innovative valuation methods to determine asset, equity, and debt values.
• Coach and lead junior team members, ensuring deliverable quality and overseeing workstreams for successful client engagement outcomes.

Experience and Qualifications

• Proven valuation experience using Income, Market, and Cost approaches, or relevant corporate finance expertise within advisory, in-house teams, or professional services.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into practical insights.
• Commercial awareness, resilience, and collaborative spirit with a drive for innovation and process improvement.
• Proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and modelling purposes.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills to explain financial and commercial insights.
• Strong interpersonal skills to cultivate trusted relationships at multiple organizational levels.
• Demonstrated project management skills capable of handling several engagements concurrently.
• Relevant technical qualifications or progression towards credentials such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) are advantageous but not mandatory.
