About the Role

Join Accenture's Technology Strategy & Advisory Practice to work with premier global clients on top-priority technology initiatives aimed at driving growth and operational efficiency. This manager position involves enabling clients to realize substantial business impact through innovative technology solutions, focused on areas such as tech mergers and acquisitions, cloud transformation, IT strategy, and digital adoption. The role spans various locations across India, including Mumbai, Bangalore, Gurgaon, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support technology-focused M&A transactions including carve outs, separations, mergers, and integrations across sectors like IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud computing, SaaS, and emerging technologies.
• Manage IT due diligence processes covering financial, operational, technological, and legal analyses for acquisition targets.
• Assess clients' technology infrastructure within the context of global, sectoral, economic, and social trends to offer strategic guidance.
• Develop and implement actionable roadmaps for digital, IT, and cloud technology deployment.
• Oversee the progress of digital, IT, and cloud strategies, manage change, monitor execution, and adjust plans as necessary.
• Provide insights on technology strategy areas such as operating models, workforce transformation, sourcing strategy, and enterprise architecture to drive client value.
• Serve as a trusted advisor with thought leadership, market trend awareness, and expert content creation for high-level discussions.
• Understand client industries or technologies to tailor strategic advice to senior leadership.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and prepare financial proposals related to client engagements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• MBA degree from a premier institute.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in M&A advisory, strategy consulting, or investment banking.
• Hands-on experience in at least the major areas: technology M&A advisory, separation and integration planning/execution, and IT due diligence.
• Involvement in at least two additional domains such as technology strategy, operating models, shared services strategy, cloud transformation, new technologies, ROI/cost reduction, modern architectures, or data-driven enterprises.
• Over 3 years of expertise in financial modeling, valuation, scenario analysis, and developing business cases to support strategic and IT transformation initiatives.
• At least 2 years of experience managing sizable teams, planning analytical tasks, guiding workshops, and delivering strategy recommendations.
• Solid practical knowledge of technology and enterprise architecture concepts and current trends including mobility, cloud, digital, and collaboration.
• Familiarity with industries like financial services, retail, consumer goods, telecommunications, life sciences, transportation, hospitality, automotive, mining, or equivalents is preferred.
• Exposure to industry frameworks such as TOGAF or DODAF is favorable but not mandatory.
