Role Overview
Reporting to the VP of Growth Surveillance Manager, this role focuses on conducting surveillance and monitoring across marketing processes to ensure governance and effectiveness. The incumbent employs designated testing methodologies and documentation to evaluate processes and embed risk mitigation throughout marketing activities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct process testing accurately and within deadlines using established documentation standards.
- Create test scripts, record procedures, and maintain evidence and outcomes in line with surveillance protocols.
- Analyze test results to detect defects, categorize issues, trace root causes, and offer conclusive recommendations to management.
- Communicate findings to process owners and ensure remediation actions are completed.
- Stay informed on Growth processes and regulatory updates by actively pursuing relevant training.
- Forge partnerships with Growth teams as per the annual surveillance plan and organize workpapers and evidence systematically.
- Execute additional duties or projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in any field with a minimum 2 years of experience in reporting, governance, risk management, audit, compliance, or growth; alternatively, 4 years of such experience without a degree.
- Experience in risks and controls, testing, surveillance, and audits.
- Strong critical thinking and time management abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Proficient analytical skills with close attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge
- Background in financial services, credit card, or banking sectors.
- Familiarity with First Data, Fiserv, Workfront, and Content Navigator systems, with preference for First Data.
- Over 3 years’ experience in financial services, understanding regulatory requirements.
- At least 2 years of risk and control assessment or testing/surveillance audit experience.
- In-depth understanding of Growth business systems and processes.
- Knowledge of process mapping, critical-to-quality metrics, process universe documentation, risk and control analysis, key governance elements.
- Strong communication skills and independent work ethic to meet deadlines.
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 2+ years relevant experience OR 4+ years relevant experience without a degree in governance, risk, audit, compliance, or growth.
Work Schedule and Flexibility
This position offers enhanced flexibility, requiring availability from 6:00 AM to 11:30 AM Eastern Time to coordinate with Asia and US teams. Other working hours are flexible to employee choice, subject to occasional exceptions for business needs. The role allows remote work or use of regional hubs, with occasional commutes for meetings, trainings, or events.
