Job description

Role overview

The Manager - Procurement (Site) handles everyday purchasing operations at the project location. The position works closely with site planning and execution teams to make sure materials, consumables, and hired services are sourced and delivered on time. It also requires regular coordination with local suppliers, stores, QA/QC, and other internal teams so that site activities continue smoothly and all procurement documentation follows company standards and policy.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with planning and execution teams to identify daily and weekly needs for materials and services based on project schedules and BOQs.
  • Draft and send enquiries to approved and registered local vendors for the required goods and services, making sure scope, quantities, and delivery timelines are clearly stated.
  • Gather vendor quotations and prepare simple comparison sheets to help with procurement decisions, under the direction of the site procurement lead.
  • Review quotations for cost, availability, payment or credit terms, and fit with project budgets and technical requirements.
  • Create purchase orders and work orders in the ERP system, such as SAP, or in the required formats, and track vendor acceptance and dispatch updates.

This role is site-based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India and is focused on supporting procurement execution at the project level. The role depends on close coordination with internal teams and external vendors to maintain timely supply flow and compliance with procurement processes.
