Manager Marketing, APAC

About the Role

Join Sensient Technologies Corporation as the Marketing Manager for the APAC region based full-time in our Singapore office (5 days on-site). This role requires strategic collaboration with teams across R&D, Applications Development, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Operations to identify untapped product opportunities and customers. Reporting directly to the Regional Marketing Director APAC, the successful candidate will lead regional marketing initiatives with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a marketing team to effectively utilize the Sensient brand, boosting regional sales growth.
• Pinpoint unmet customer demands in the food segment and transform these insights into customized value propositions and innovative products.
• Work closely with cross-functional groups to translate ideas into market-ready products.
• Plan, organize, and oversee participation in major industry events such as conferences, tradeshows, and technical seminars.
• Manage the full New Product Development (NPD) cycle, ensuring timely development and launch of new food/flavor ingredients.
• Create polished product launch materials including technical datasheets, marketing collateral, and sales presentations.
• Oversee product lifecycle management by evaluating existing offerings, identifying complexity, and proposing portfolio streamlining.
• Conduct market analysis on trends like natural colors and clean label products within Asia Pacific to maintain competitive advantage.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Marketing, or related field.
• At least ten years of progressive business experience including five years in sales or marketing roles.
• Strong leadership qualities with a self-starter attitude and an ambition to grow professionally.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within the APAC region.
• Strategic thinker with a track record of setting business goals, crafting strategic plans, and driving results.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, embracing challenges and focused on making a tangible business impact.
• Excellent communication skills capable of delivering persuasive presentations and engaging in effective two-way communication.
• Demonstrates solid business and sales understanding, with persistence and strong organizational abilities.
• Proven experience in product portfolio management, analyzing market trends, and responding to customer needs to enhance sales revenue.
