Role overview

The Manager, Logistics Performance (Regional) serves as the main link between country operations and the regional logistics function. The role keeps priorities, execution, and performance aligned across markets, while turning regional logistics plans into practical actions at the operational level.

This position is accountable for reviewing logistics performance, spotting opportunities to improve, and helping drive stronger outcomes across the network. It also brings local operational constraints and risks back to regional logistics so strategy and execution stay connected.

Scope of responsibility

  • Regional and multi-country coverage
  • Key partners include Regional Logistics, Country Operations teams, Area Managers, and Operational Excellence
  • Main focus areas include logistics performance, last-mile or supply chain execution, and operational alignment
  • Individual contributor role with cross-functional ownership and influence

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the central contact point between Operations and Regional Logistics.
  • Keep priorities, timelines, and initiative ownership aligned across teams.
  • Convert regional logistics strategies into clear, actionable plans for country teams.
  • Share structured feedback from operations, including local limitations, feasibility concerns, and execution risks.
  • Monitor and assess logistics KPIs across countries, such as delivery time, cost efficiency, service levels, and utilization.
  • Identify gaps in performance, market-to-market variation, and the underlying causes of weak results.
  • Prepare recurring performance reviews and reporting for both Operations and Regional Logistics.
  • Provide data-backed recommendations that improve logistics outcomes.
  • Collect, organize, and rank logistics needs coming from Operations.
  • Apply a structured and data-led approach to prioritization that reflects regional and business goals.
  • Work with Regional Logistics on roadmaps, resource planning, and rollout sequencing.
  • Track the progress of key logistics initiatives and help ensure timely delivery.
  • Spot process and efficiency improvements across markets and help drive implementation.
  • Support cost-saving, process-improvement, and efficiency initiatives from planning through execution.
  • Make sure initiatives are communicated well, embedded into day-to-day work, and measured for results.
  • Resolve cross-functional logistics issues and ensure follow-through until closure.
  • Build strong working relationships with regional teams, country leaders, and area managers.
  • Run alignment meetings such as performance reviews and planning sessions.
  • Maintain transparent communication on priorities, progress, and expectations.
  • Promote standardized logistics processes and best practices across markets.
  • Look for ways to improve consistency, scalability, and operational simplicity.
  • Support the creation of tools, frameworks, and reporting methods that strengthen logistics management.

Success metrics

  • Better logistics KPIs, including delivery time, service level, and cost efficiency.
  • Lower operational inefficiencies and reduced variation across markets.
  • Successful delivery of logistics initiatives on time and with measurable impact.
  • Strong alignment and satisfaction between Operations and Regional Logistics.
  • High-quality reporting and useful insights that are adopted by stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, operations, or consulting.
  • Experience in regional or multi-country roles is preferred.
  • Exposure to last-mile logistics or warehouse operations is a strong advantage.
  • Solid analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills are required.
  • Experience with BI tools would be beneficial.
  • Ability to organize complex topics and present them clearly.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfort working in a cross-functional, matrix-style environment.
  • High sense of ownership and strong execution discipline.
  • Ability to convert data insights into practical operational actions.

Success profile

The ideal candidate is someone who can connect strategy with execution, manage multiple stakeholders across regions, and turn performance data into concrete improvements in logistics operations.
