Manager (Global Office), NYC - 3-Year Contract

Role Overview

The Global Office team coordinates youth relations between governments and offers youth leaders opportunities for international and regional representation. It also manages the Asia-Ready Exposure Programme (AEP), which equips youth from Institutes of Higher Learning (such as ITE, Polytechnic, and University) with regional exposure to ASEAN countries, China, and India. This program enhances their skills and networks, supporting the National Youth Council's mission to nurture knowledgeable and globally aware youth with a commitment to Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee partnership activities with educational institutions and partners to facilitate effective delivery of the AEP and ensure alignment with its goals.
• Administer grant processes by ensuring compliance, monitoring performance, and evaluating youth development impacts.
• Support data and systems management, including handling youth and survey data, performing learning analytics, and maintaining the Learning Management System linked to international youth programs and backend operations.
• Organize and assist outbound delegations representing Singapore at international youth platforms.
• Design and implement regional youth exchanges and leadership initiatives, periodically reviewing these for impact and benefits to the Council.

Candidate Profile

• Possess at least 3 years of pertinent professional experience.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, highly adaptable, and eager to learn.
• Experience in grant administration, data oversight, system and process management, and project coordination.
• Strong skills in analysis and communication.
• Collaborative with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and partners.
• Interest in youth development, data and system handling, and international relations.
• Demonstrated ability in managing data, stakeholders, systems, and projects is advantageous.
