Role Overview
The Manager for Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Projects will oversee all phases of electrical and instrumentation installations, maintenance, and projects at the Bharuch facility. This leadership role entails planning, execution, compliance, reliability, and documentation management of E&I systems, ensuring adherence to safety and statutory standards. The position requires close coordination with multiple departments and external vendors to achieve timely, budget-conscious project delivery and operational excellence.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of electrical and instrumentation projects from planning, design review, coordination, installation, testing, commissioning to final handover with complete documentation.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules, manpower and material plans, and manage execution strategies.
- Supervise internal teams and contractors, guiding technical troubleshooting and ensuring quality and safety compliance.
- Manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and system reliability.
- Oversee preparation and control of all E&I related documents including SOPs, protocols, maintenance logs, calibration and training records, and as-built drawings.
- Administer annual calibration schedules for critical instrumentation, coordinate with external agencies, and maintain compliance documentation.
- Ensure all work aligns with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 management systems and local statutory electrical and safety regulations.
Candidate Profile & Eligibility
The ideal candidate should hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, or related fields. Candidates with a diploma in these disciplines are also eligible.
