Job description
Role Overview
The Manager - Design Governance occupies a senior position within the Design Excellence (DEx) department under CDU at Qiddiya. This role ensures the establishment and upkeep of design governance frameworks that promote uniformity, high quality, and regulatory compliance across all Qiddiya projects.
The Design Governance vertical serves as the steward safeguarding adherence to design principles in alignment with Qiddiya Investment Company's (QIC) objectives and distinct brand identity. The manager partners with cross-disciplinary teams and business units to supervise and enforce compliance with governance protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and execute organization-wide procedures for assessing project compliance against Board-sanctioned Computer Generated Images (CGIs) and visual standards, covering concept to interior designs.
- Manage a centralized, chronologically organized archive of approved CGIs to assist in compliance monitoring and reference.
- Perform regular audits and collaborate with DEx teams to confirm conformity with authorized designs, recognizing any deviations.
- Work closely with design, project management, and governance teams to integrate design standards and resolve compliance-related issues.
- Compile and present reports on audit outcomes, compliance status, and propose enhancements for design governance processes.
- Define explicit review workflows, approval protocols, and escalation pathways pertinent to design governance.
- Coordinate with DEx teams across departments to detect nonconformities and apply remedial measures.
- Create compliance monitoring dashboards and reporting tools to enhance transparency for leadership.
- Leverage advanced digital applications such as Excel and Power BI to scrutinize data sets and produce visual dashboards facilitating informed decision-making.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff in organizing projects, preparing documentation, and analytical responsibilities, supporting their professional growth.
