Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Radiographer/Mammographer to join our team at the Specialist Women's Imaging clinic in Hobart. This role is available on a full-time basis, with part-time candidates also encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will work as part of Tasmania’s premier women's health diagnostic team within Radiology Tasmania, a leading statewide provider.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service with compassion and empathy, fostering patient comfort for both first-time and returning mammography patients, thereby enhancing compliance rates.
- Contribute to identifying, developing, and implementing quality improvement initiatives to elevate mammography service delivery standards.
- Collaborate closely with the regional Breastscreen service to uphold high standards of care and meet performance targets.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of an accredited Certificate in Mammographic Practice or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a mammographer.
- Registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner with AHPRA.
- Valid Radiation Use Licence.
- Australian residency status with legal work rights.
- Tertiary qualification in Medical Imaging Technology (Diagnostic Radiography).
