Maintenance Technician II

Job Overview

This opportunity is for a Maintenance Technician II based in Athens, GA, focused on ensuring optimal performance and reliability of various technical systems within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Work independently to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and systems following best maintenance practices.
• Oversee reliability and performance of clean utilities, clean room HVAC, power plant/utilities, and High Purity Water (HPW) systems.
• Work assigned to the 2nd shift: Monday through Friday, from 4:00pm to 12:30am.

Experience and Qualifications

• High school diploma coupled with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in manufacturing, preferably in pharmaceutical settings, or
• An Associate or Technical degree in a related discipline with at least 2 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Practical training and hands-on experience with boiler and steam plant systems.
• Familiarity with compressed air systems, centrifugal chillers, cooling towers, process chill water systems, RO/DI systems, HPW systems, clean steam systems, generators, and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of and commitment to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards.
• Intermediate problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
