Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

This position presents a valuable opportunity for a certified Maintenance Technician to join a dynamic manufacturing setting. The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing production machinery and equipment to support efficient operations and minimize equipment downtime.

Key Duties

• Execute scheduled preventative and reactive maintenance tasks on production machines and their auxiliary systems.
• Diagnose and remedy mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues affecting equipment.
• Identify and resolve process-related and machinery faults to reduce production interruptions.
• Calibrate machinery and adjust process parameters to ensure consistent product quality.
• Assist with the implementation, testing, and validation of new tooling applications.
• Maintain equipment along with air, water, and material supply infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams on initiatives aimed at continuous system and process improvements.
• Contribute to preventative maintenance scheduling and enhance equipment reliability.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety protocols and quality assurance standards.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a recognized qualification in Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitting or an equivalent credential.
• Demonstrate solid knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems within an industrial environment.
• Exhibit strong analytical abilities for troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or production environments is preferable.
• Exposure to injection moulding processes is a plus, though training for this will be provided.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
• Willingness to undertake international travel as needed to offer technical assistance.
