Position Summary

The Maintenance Planner will organize and oversee the maintenance activities for the Maintenance and Engineering team. This includes creating effective schedules and plans for preventive, predictive, condition-based, and project/backlog maintenance tasks. The role involves ensuring resource availability, coordinating with production schedulers, and supporting mechanics and technicians with expert advice and communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance and engineering team work activities.
  • Develop thorough and efficient work plans for various types of maintenance, including preventive and predictive.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Stores team to verify parts availability and readiness.
  • Work closely with Production Scheduling to align maintenance with production timelines.
  • Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to make informed decisions.
  • Provide guidance to line mechanics and technicians and maintain clear communication throughout the maintenance hierarchy.
  • Act as an NCE Facilitator by promoting Autonomous Maintenance Management (AMM), tracking outcomes, and driving improvement projects.
  • Lead maintenance-related project initiatives based on trend analysis and engage in continuous process improvement efforts.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in maintenance planning or scheduling within manufacturing, industrial, production, military, or related environments.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is approximately $77,141 to $104,902 annually, with eligibility for bonuses. Final pay depends on skills, knowledge, and location, with most hires unlikely to start at the highest salary point.
