Role Overview

The Maintenance Mechanic's responsibilities include upkeep, troubleshooting, and repairing both production and facility machinery to ensure uninterrupted operations. Daily activities encompass conducting routine equipment inspections, identifying mechanical and electrical faults, performing both corrective and preventive maintenance tasks, and maintaining detailed maintenance records. The role requires coordination with production personnel to reduce downtime, strict compliance with safety protocols, and assistance in equipment setup or upgrades as necessary. This is a full-time position based on-site in Dubai.

Qualifications Needed

• Proficient in Equipment and Industrial Maintenance focused on production machinery and facility systems.
• Experienced in applying Preventive Maintenance strategies through scheduled inspections and servicing to deter equipment breakdowns.
• Skilled in Corrective Maintenance and repair procedures to diagnose problems and restore equipment functionality.
• Background in manufacturing or food production sectors, with solid mechanical understanding and awareness of safety and hygiene regulations.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics, operate hand and power tools, and work with basic electrical and hydraulic components.
• Strong analytical ability, meticulous attention to detail, and readiness to work in shifts or extended hours if required.
• Preferred possession of vocational or technical certification in mechanical, industrial, or maintenance engineering fields.
