About the Company
The client is a manufacturing firm specializing in Ductile Iron and Grey Iron Castings with an overall turnover of ₹1300 crore; their Gudur plant alone contributes ₹500 crore. The business aims to expand to a ₹3000 crore turnover within three years.
Role Overview
We seek an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Manager with over 12 years of expertise to lead and oversee full plant maintenance at the foundry-based casting facility. The role involves developing and implementing maintenance strategies to ensure uninterrupted operation of all mechanical and electrical equipment with zero downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce maintenance policies and strategies tailored to foundry installations.
- Plan and coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance activities for plant machinery.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations related to plant maintenance and safety.
- Lead and inspire the maintenance team to achieve operational excellence and motivate continuous improvement.
- Maintain effective communication, both written and oral, within teams and management.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in managing all mechanical and electrical installations in a foundry environment with a strong focus on minimizing downtime.
- Proven ability to handle high-pressure molding and foundry processes.
- Strong leadership qualities capable of inspiring and motivating maintenance teams.
- Excellent communication skills to manage statutory requirements and internal coordination effectively.
