Job Location and Notice Period

Positions are available in Mumbai, Bangalore, and Chennai. Candidates should be able to join immediately or within a maximum notice period of 30 days.

Experience Requirements

Applicants must have over 3 years of professional experience.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

• Extensive practical experience in Core Mainframe technologies including COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM, and IMS DB/DC.
• Familiarity with both Batch and Online processing systems.
• Experience in mainframe rehosting or migration projects involving Raincode or Micro Focus platforms.
• Hands-on skills with Raincode for making code alterations, compiling, debugging, and conducting unit tests for both Batch and Online environments.
• Ability to conduct impact analysis and comprehend technical design documents.
• Involvement in enhancement projects with a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience analyzing and fixing defects during System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies is preferred.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with IMS DB/DC, Easytrieve, Assembler, and Datacom.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as REXX and CLIST.
• Domain experience in Telecommunications is an advantage.

Professional Competencies

• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
