Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with 6 to 10 years of industry experience to join our Bengaluru team. The position involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying COBOL applications on mainframe platforms, along with providing essential technical support for CICS and VSAM systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain COBOL programs to support mainframe applications.
- Offer technical assistance and resolve issues related to CICS-based DBMS and VSAM systems.
- Work collaboratively with different teams to streamline and enhance mainframe production support processes.
- Diagnose and debug complex technical problems with tools such as print debugging and trace utilities.
Essential Requirements
- Proven expertise with mainframe technologies including COBOL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM.
- Availability for an in-person interview process in Bengaluru; candidates must be locally based.
