Job description
Overview
This role entails working onsite in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, without remote work options. The position requires a minimum of 3 years and less than 5 years of experience, with a secondary (high) school graduation certificate as the educational qualification.
Responsibilities
- Calculate the dimensions and permissible tolerances for various machine parts.
- Measure and layout workpieces in preparation for assembly processes.
- Interpret engineering blueprints, drawings, charts, and tables accurately.
- Repair machine tools and related parts as necessary.
- Setup and modify production machinery and tools.
- Assemble components and machine parts with a high degree of precision and close tolerance.
- Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments regularly.
- Document deviations from specifications and tolerance limits clearly.
- Maintain thorough inspection records and complete detailed inspection reports.
- Operate both conventional and computer-controlled machine tools proficiently.
