Job Overview
The Machine Technician role focuses on producing consistent, high-quality products by supporting all manufacturing operations with accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities involve rotating tasks across production lines and supporting leadership and plant teams to meet operational goals while creating a motivated, positive workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all operations adhere strictly to safety protocols.
- Consistently manufacture products meeting high-quality standards.
- Prepare accurate reports in a timely manner.
- Maintain positive communication with colleagues and supervisors.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of experience in manufacturing or roles requiring strict safety adherence.
- Ability to handle requests professionally and promptly.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills at an intermediate level.
- Proficient in planning, prioritization, organization, and reporting.
- Capable of independent problem-solving.
- Competent in troubleshooting production issues.
- Intermediate knowledge of Google Suite applications.
- Familiarity with standard manufacturing principles and practices.
- Mathematical skills including calculation with whole numbers, fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios, and measurements interpretation.
Preferred Experience
- Prior work in a fast-paced, continuous production environment.
Physical and Working Conditions
- Frequently required to stand, move, lift, carry, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
- Occasionally expected to balance, sit, communicate vocally, and perform repetitive motions.
- Often exposed to extreme temperatures, humidity, wet conditions, noise, hazards, vibrations, and frequent temperature changes.
- Occasional travel may be required for job-related events such as conferences or training.
Compensation and Benefits
The base hourly wage for this position is $28.06. Compensation packages vary depending on factors like location, experience, skills, and qualifications and exclude fringe benefits and potential bonuses.
