Job Overview
Join Hind Pharma as a Machine Operator responsible for operating strip packing and labelling machines that meet production standards. This role demands setting up machines, managing changeovers, and ensuring all products are labelled, coded, and packaged accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate strip packing and labelling machinery according to production demands.
- Prepare equipment before production runs and execute machine changeovers smoothly.
- Ensure all products carry correct labelling, coding, and packaging.
- Monitor machine functionality and address minor technical issues promptly.
- Maintain detailed production logs, batch information, and machine records.
- Perform cleaning and upkeep of machines and surrounding workspaces.
- Inspect product quality throughout production and report any irregularities.
- Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety protocols, and company policies.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and maintenance teams to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Work towards minimizing equipment downtime and reducing material waste.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Educational background: ITI, Diploma, 12th pass, or equivalent technical certification.
- Between 1 to 3 years of experience operating strip packing or labelling machines.
- Basic understanding of packaging processes in pharmaceutical contexts.
- Knowledgeable of GMP compliance and workplace safety standards.
- Effective in meeting production targets with efficiency.
- Good communication abilities and aptitude for teamwork.
Preferred Expertise
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical or cosmetic production sectors.
- Familiarity with machine troubleshooting and preventive maintenance techniques.
Working Environment
- Shift system involving rotational schedules may be required.
- Work will take place on the production floor.
- Reports to Production Supervisor or Production Manager.
