Role Overview

CCI's Edmonton location is seeking a Fabricator responsible for daily production of custom insulation products tailored to unique client needs. Operating equipment such as a band saw and other saw types, the Fabricator handles materials including fiberglass, mineral wool, perlite, and specialized insulation, differentiating CCI within the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication machinery like band saws proficiently and learn to handle additional saws and tools as required.
• Accurately measure materials using tape measures and other measuring instruments.
• Interpret instructions provided in written, oral, diagrammatic, or scheduled formats.
• Maintain product quality standards and support cleanliness and organization of the workspace.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Engage in physical tasks including frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting items weighing up to 23 kilograms.
• Stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours, to fulfill job responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

• Basic mathematical competence to solve fundamental problems.
• Prior experience within warehouse or similar environments.
• Forklift certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
