Role Overview

The company seeks a skilled engineer to develop a comprehensive framework that enables non-technical users—including product managers, analysts, and domain specialists—to create, train, and deploy machine learning models using a no-code platform designed for production environments. This is a unique opportunity to influence how an entire user group engages with machine learning technology without involving code.

Key Responsibilities

• Decompose machine learning’s essential components into concise, modular ideas that can be visually represented and manipulated by users without technical backgrounds.
• Simplify ML workflows and jargon without sacrificing model functionality, flexibility, or accuracy.
• Develop fundamental building blocks like nodes, components, and templates for visual ML network and pipeline modeling.
• Create user interface elements, interaction patterns, and visual aids that enable confident ML model creation and configuration by non-experts.
• Seamlessly integrate this framework into RockQ’s broader no-code platform ensuring stability and performance in production alongside other modules.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to refine the platform based on user feedback and practical applications.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in software development with demonstrable experience designing and managing system-level frameworks or platform components from inception to deployment.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in machine learning, including training, understanding algorithms, and model utilization.
• Proven ability in software or framework architecture, including creating abstractions, APIs, or modular elements serving as foundations for user-built extensions.
• Experience participating in or leading UX/UI design for complex technical tools, translating advanced workflows into intuitive novice-friendly interfaces.
• Knowledge of production-level ML systems concerning deployment, serving, and monitoring, understanding the requirements beyond experimental prototypes.
• High autonomy in decision-making with capacity to define ambiguous problems, balance simplicity versus flexibility, and make architectural and product decisions with limited supervision.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
