Job description
Role Overview
As a Loss Prevention Officer at Victoria’s Secret in Nottingham, you will be central to safeguarding the store’s people, products, and premises. Working closely with the Senior Leadership team and your Line Manager, you will manage the store's Loss Prevention initiatives and help shape its future while prioritizing people and product protection.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all in-store security operations, conduct internal investigations, and manage theft incidents with professionalism and discretion.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with local law enforcement, aiding in executing local crime reduction partnerships.
- Utilize all security tools and information to prevent, detect, and control criminal activities by monitoring and identifying theft risks.
- Train new hires and existing staff on Loss Prevention practices, ensuring compliance with Company Prevention Standards alongside Senior Leadership.
- Keep teams well-informed on security policies and initiatives by facilitating communication between store staff and Loss Prevention teams.

- Remain calm and composed under pressure; communicate respectfully and proactively.
- Deliver a strong visual deterrent by monitoring high-risk areas and managing safety and security incidents effectively.

- Prior retail experience is advantageous but not mandatory as comprehensive training will be provided.

- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday: 10:00 - 18:30
- Wednesday: 11:00 - 19:30
- Thursday: 10:00 - 18:30
- Friday: 10:00 - 18:30
- Saturday: 09:00 - 17:30
