Loss Prevention Executive

Overview

This role involves comprehensive security responsibilities across the property including patrolling, securing rooms, and assisting guests with access. The executive will conduct emergency drills, perform safety inspections, handle investigations and interviews, and audit key control procedures. Surveillance through CCTV and alarm monitoring is a key duty alongside managing access to restricted areas and assisting in emergencies, including administering first aid/CPR when necessary.

Key Duties

• Patrol all property zones and secure rooms effectively
• Conduct emergency response drills and safety inspections daily
• Investigate incidents and carry out interviews
• Audit key controls and monitor surveillance equipment
• Manage access authorization and documentation for secured areas
• Assist guests and employees during emergencies
• Respond promptly to accidents and coordinate with EMS
• Maintain confidentiality of reports and release information only to authorized personnel
• De-escalate disturbances according to company policies
• Handle complaints and ensure removal of unwelcome individuals from premises
• Ensure adherence to alcoholic beverage control laws
• Use appropriate codes to request assistance
• Prepare and provide necessary paperwork to employees
• Support management in employee training, motivation, and coaching
• Act as a role model and primary contact for the Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy
• Maintain professional appearance and follow all company protocols
• Welcome guests warmly and anticipate their service needs
• Communicate clearly and professionally, including telephone etiquette
• Foster positive teamwork and uphold quality standards
• Perform physical tasks including lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds independently and over 75 pounds with assistance
• Navigate confined or elevated spaces and irregular surfaces safely
• Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisors

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent credential
• A minimum of 2 years in related security or loss prevention roles
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience
• No specific license or certification required
