Role Description

Based in Doha, Qatar, this full-time on-site Loss Adjuster position requires conducting detailed investigations, evaluations, and quantifications of insurance claims across multiple lines such as property, liability, engineering, and motor. The role involves performing site visits, collecting evidence, interviewing involved parties, and drafting detailed loss reports and recommendations. The Loss Adjuster will coordinate with insurers, brokers, and insured clients, manage claim timelines, and support negotiation processes to ensure prompt and fair claim resolutions. Additionally, the role includes contributing to ongoing refinement of technical procedures, maintaining high standards aligned with ALA's values and service quality.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Strong expertise in claims handling, management, investigation, evaluation, and comprehensive reporting.
  • Proficient in property claims adjustments with a sound understanding of policy terms and compliance with local regulations.
  • Knowledgeable about insurance principles and practices, preferably covering multiple lines including property, liability, engineering, and motor.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical assessment skills for damage evaluation and financial impact analysis.
  • Fluent command of English, both written and verbal; Arabic language proficiency is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform on-site inspections and manage numerous cases simultaneously with keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in insurance, risk management, engineering, finance, or related disciplines; professional insurance certifications such as CII or equivalent are desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in loss adjusting, preferably within the Qatar market.
  • Demonstrated professional ethics, cultural sensitivity, and collaborative attitude suitable for working within an international multidisciplinary team.
