About the Role
We are looking to hire a Logistics Specialist on a 24-month contractual basis who will play a key role in managing and supporting logistics operations, primarily through the Oracle EBS logistics module. This position will serve as the main contact point for the global team and provide critical support to ensure smooth logistics processes and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage system administration and maintain data accuracy using the Oracle logistics module (EBS), including tracking inventory and processing orders.
- Provide primary support for issues related to logistics systems by collaborating with vendors and IT to solve operational challenges, and ensure timely completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end operational closings.
- Support warehouse cycle counts, both weekly and year-end physical inventories.
- Establish and uphold logistics process standards through cross-functional discussion facilitation and driving best practices adoption in Oracle EBS systems under logistics management guidance.
- Serve as the escalation resource for technical decisions involving Oracle EBS.
- Deliver operational assistance for high-impact system issues and oversee complex projects that enhance the logistics processes.
- Operate in a hybrid capacity to both maintain logistics discipline in Oracle EBS and prioritize support for digital transformation efforts.
- Coach and mentor junior system specialists to ensure effective day-to-day business operation and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Create and enhance productivity automation reports.
- Introduce systematic locator grouping to optimize work order report sorting.
- Develop new work order reports aimed at eliminating manual counting and reporting tasks.
- Investigate and resolve process or system errors to minimize system downtime.
- Support warehouse activity reporting including transaction and inventory status data.
- Provide clarifications and assistance on regional logistics systems and processes.
- Assist with logistics data management, digitization, and document storage.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics Management, Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline.
- Five or more years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain data analysis.
- Advanced skills in spreadsheet tools (Excel, SQL) and familiarity with logistics platforms such as SAP, Oracle, and WMS/TMS systems.
- Proven ability to analyze logistics performance data to identify areas for improvement.
- Strong problem-solving skills with critical independent thinking.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.
