Logistics Service Executive

Job Overview

The Logistics Service Executive will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of order processing and transportation activities, ensuring smooth coordination and documentation for shipments. This role requires close collaboration across internal teams, customers, and subcontractors to maintain timely and accurate logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of order processing effectively.
• Analyze customer orders for feasibility and accuracy.
• Plan, book, and oversee transportation orders from start to finish.
• Coordinate and monitor shipment status, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Handle customs procedures for both export and import shipments.
• Prepare and manage all necessary documentation, administration, invoicing, and filing tasks.
• Provide timely updates and reports to customers through multiple communication channels, including email, phone, and EDI systems.
• Address operational issues and resolve any disruptions in logistics processes.
• Report any non-conformances in line with established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Work closely with approved subcontractors, adhering to agreed contractual rates.
• Ensure end-to-end processing with punctual and error-free handling and documentation of orders.
• Conduct freight audit and payment processing to maintain financial accuracy.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of two years' hands-on experience in logistics, freight forwarding operations, regulations, and related documentation.
• Preferably hold a professional qualification from a recognized educational institution specializing in logistics and forwarding.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software and / or other leading logistics software applications.
