Logistics Service Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable Logistics Service Coordinator to oversee and streamline various logistics operations in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This role involves managing end-to-end logistics processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining strong coordination between internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire order processing workflow from receipt to delivery.
• Conduct thorough plausibility checks on customer orders to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
• Plan, book, and arrange transportation orders efficiently.
• Coordinate and monitor shipment progress to ensure timely delivery.
• Handle customs procedures for both export and import shipments.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including administration, invoicing, and filing.
• Provide timely feedback to customers through multiple channels such as email, phone, and EDI.
• Address and resolve operational challenges to prevent delays or issues.
• Report non-conformance incidents following established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with authorized subcontractors while adhering to agreed tariffs and conditions.
• Ensure punctual, accurate, and comprehensive order handling and related paperwork.
• Conduct freight payment audits to verify expense accuracy.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• At least three years of focused experience in logistics, forwarding operations, including related regulations and documentation processes.
• Preferably hold a professional degree from an accredited institution specializing in logistics and forwarding.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and/or other leading software tools used in logistics management.
