Logistics Officer

About the Role

Bell Oil and Gas Limited, a prominent indigenous oilfield services company, is seeking a Logistics Officer to oversee supply chain activities and manage the base operations hub located at the Lekki Free Zone in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos State. This role involves managing inbound and outbound freight movements, handling OCTG materials, processing customs documentation such as Form M and PAAR, and coordinating with freight forwarders to support oilfield service operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily base logistics operations including inventory checks, and manage the specialized handling and storage of Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) and related oilfield materials.
• Handle end-to-end import documentation processes including generating Form M and PAAR reports, ensuring compliance with import/export regulations and trade laws.
• Oversee freight and port activities by managing shipping schedules, optimizing routes, and collaborating closely with clearing agents and international freight forwarders.
• Prepare weekly logistics reports, maintain detailed audit records for all inbound and outbound shipments, and enforce safety standards and risk management practices throughout the supply chain.

Requirements

• Possess a university degree (Bachelor of Science or equivalent) in fields such as Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and be capable of commuting to or working within the Lekki Free Zone / Ibeju-Lekki industrial area.
• Have a minimum of three years’ experience in oilfield logistics, global trade compliance, transportation oversight, and warehouse or base operations management.
• Demonstrate expertise in processing Form M & PAAR, applying import/export maritime regulations, managing OCTG handling requirements, scheduling shipments, and working with freight forwarding agencies.
