Logistics Executive

Job Overview

We are seeking a Logistics Executive to join our team at Vishwas Trading Consultancy, located in Borivali West, Mumbai. This role requires managing transportation and supply chain operations with a focus on timely deliveries and documentation management.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should hold a graduate degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of two years of practical experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily transportation operations ensuring efficient dispatch and prompt delivery of goods.
• Handle all necessary documentation including e-way bills, delivery challans, LR/GR notes, and proof of delivery documents.
• Monitor shipment status, track vehicles, and address any delays during transit or delivery phases.
• Generate logistics MIS reports and collaborate with the accounts department for billing and freight payment processes.
• Coordinate effectively with vendors, transporters, and warehouse staff to optimize operations.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of logistics and transportation management.
• Proficiency with documentation related to logistics like e-way bills and invoices.
• Experience coordinating with vendors, transporters, and warehouses.
• Competence in Microsoft Excel and basic reporting within Microsoft Office.

Work Schedule and Additional Details

• Working hours are from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with a six-day work week.
• The role is open to all genders.
• Offered monthly salary ranges from 20,000 to 30,000 INR.
