Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time Logistics Coordinator based in Dammam to oversee the movement and management of materials, equipment, and supplies to various project sites. Core responsibilities include coordinating shipment schedules, ensuring accuracy in documentation for incoming and outgoing goods, maintaining comprehensive inventory records, and collaborating closely with procurement, warehouse, and project teams to avoid shortages or delays.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track shipments to align with project schedules.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all material movements.
- Monitor inventory levels and reconcile records to ensure material availability.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and site teams to prevent logistical disruptions.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and transportation providers to resolve delivery issues promptly.
- Support adherence to company procedures and safety standards in logistics operations.
- Contribute to improving logistics processes aimed at cost efficiency and enhanced service quality.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong analytical abilities to assess logistics performance metrics and assist with data-driven decisions.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
- Customer service orientation to address stakeholder requirements and maintain positive interactions.
- Proficiency in inventory management to monitor stock and maintain material control accuracy.
- Understanding of supply chain management to facilitate efficient material flow and logistics planning.
- Prior experience in logistics, construction, industrial services, or related sectors is advantageous.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, inventory or warehouse management tools, and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and capability to operate efficiently in a dynamic, project-focused environment.
