Role Overview

The Logistics Coordinator role involves managing freight and carrier relationships to ensure efficient delivery schedules and maximize profitability. Responsibilities include negotiating freight rates, planning optimal carrier routes, tracking shipments, coordinating delivery appointments, and communicating updates to customers and carriers. The position requires updating Windows-based internal systems and maintaining proactive measures to handle potential service disruptions.

Work Schedule

This full-time role is based onsite during standard business hours, though occasional work outside these hours may be necessary to handle urgent operational issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in transportation
• Preferred 5 years of experience in logistics
• Secondary school education preferred
