Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks safely and efficiently, adhering to all site safety regulations.
- Prepare and complete all necessary paperwork and batch documentation associated with shipments and stock.
- Scan, locate, label, and manage inventory such as indent and drum stock.
- Assist with cyclic counts and stocktaking exercises to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Create labels and ensure proper identification of materials.
- Work independently with a strong attention to detail and sound decision-making skills related to quality.
- Maintain clear communication and proper literacy to follow procedures and safety guidelines.
- Utilize basic PC and mathematics skills to support operational tasks.
