Role Overview

The Tester position is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, requiring applicants to be Qatari nationals. The incumbent will design and execute comprehensive test cases, focusing on functional, regression, and integration testing, ensuring quality and performance consistency of AI-powered offerings like EVA. Duties include defect logging, tracking, re-testing, and collaborating effectively with developers, product managers, and analysts to maintain high standards for releases. The Tester will also contribute to test documentation, participate in planning, and provide feedback on usability and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and user stories to develop test strategies.
• Design and perform functional, regression, and integration tests on AI-driven products.
• Identify and log defects, track their resolution, and validate fixes through re-testing.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers and product managers to ensure quality deliverables.
• Maintain clear and thorough test documentation including test plans and reports.
• Contribute suggestions for quality assurance process improvements and adoption of best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies such as test case design and regression testing.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking systems, and ability to document detailed test artifacts.
• Skill in analyzing requirements and identifying edge cases in complex enterprise systems.
• Exposure to automation testing tools or scripting like Selenium or REST API testing is advantageous.
• Knowledge of relevant domains such as telecom, banking, insurance, and customer support enhances effectiveness in testing AI conversational solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills with task prioritization capabilities under fast-paced conditions.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication, enabling collaboration across diverse teams and providing actionable feedback.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is required.
