Role Overview

The Loans Officer position is a full-time, on-site role located in Harare. Responsibilities include managing the complete loan lifecycle for MSME and individual clients, from sourcing potential borrowers to processing loan applications. The officer conducts loan interviews, evaluates creditworthiness, analyzes financial documentation, and recommends fitting loan products aligned with company policies and legal standards. Duties also involve maintaining accurate records, monitoring loan repayment performance, supporting debt collection efforts, and delivering ongoing client support by answering inquiries and advising on financial options. This role contributes to loan portfolio growth targets, participates in marketing efforts, and collaborates with branch and risk teams to ensure the loan book remains compliant and healthy.
