Loan Officer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Loan Officer to guide borrowers through the loan process, helping close consumer or commercial loans. This position blends sales expertise, credit analysis, and managing applications from initial inquiry through to funding.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate leads using inbound inquiries, referrals, and proactive outreach
• Conduct interviews with borrowers to assess financial needs and qualify their loan applications
• Gather required documentation and submit loan files for underwriting review
• Maintain clear communication with borrowers during all stages of the loan process
• Adhere strictly to lending regulations and disclosure policies
• Manage an active pipeline and consistently achieve monthly loan origination goals

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Possess an active NMLS or an equivalent license
• Minimum 2 years' experience in loan origination or sales within financial services
• In-depth knowledge of various loan products and underwriting procedures
• Hands-on familiarity with Loan Origination Systems such as Encompass or LoanLogics
• Exceptional written and oral communication abilities
• Self-driven, with proven success in commission-based roles
