Role Overview

At Make Your Own Perfume (MYOP), a pioneering brand in India's retail perfume sector, we craft fragrances designed for all-day wear and develop captivating content that halts scrolling. We are searching for a Line Producer who will drive our production operations for social media content, ensuring every shoot occurs within budget, on schedule, monthly.

This pivotal role demands hands-on involvement and high accountability in a fast-paced and lean setting. The ideal candidate excels in managing schedules, budgets, and vendor communications across diverse locations, including our Calicut store and different parts of India.

Expected Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the entire monthly production timeline from initial briefing to final content delivery.
• Create, monitor, and control a monthly shoot budget of approximately ₹300,000, ensuring precise cost accounting.
• Organize shoot schedules and issue call sheets, coordinating logistics involving crew members, talent, equipment, and locations.
• Build and maintain a dependable network of freelance professionals such as directors of photography, editors, makeup artists, and stylists.
• Negotiate rates with vendors, including rentals and locations, to maintain cost effectiveness without sacrificing quality.
• Manage travel and arrangements for shoots outside the primary city to various destinations across India.
• Serve as the liaison between creative/branding teams and production crews to align vision with practical execution.
• Oversee the post-production phase by briefing editors, ensuring timely delivery, and confirming correct formats for social media (Reels, Shorts, static images).
• Address on-site issues rapidly and calmly, including cancellations, personnel no-shows, or equipment malfunctions.
• Keep accurate records of shoots, expenses, and vendor interactions on a monthly basis.

• Proficiency in budget management using spreadsheet tools like Excel or Sheets.
• Scheduling expertise for shoots and preparation of call sheets.
• Skilled in vendor negotiation to ensure value and quality.
• Knowledgeable about post-production workflows and social media content requirements.
• Experienced in managing logistics related to equipment and travel.
• Capacity to source, coordinate, and manage freelance professionals effectively.
