With a highly experienced executive leadership, the company aims to develop into a multi-asset operator managing 3 to 5 gold and copper projects, targeting production within six months.

Role Overview

The Light Vehicle Mechanic will be instrumental in maintaining the reliability, safety, and compliance of the site's light vehicle fleet and related equipment. Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, this position demands performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing faults, conducting repairs, and ensuring vehicles meet all operational and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled and preventive maintenance to maximize vehicle reliability, adhering to site and OEM guidelines.
• Diagnose and address mechanical, hydraulic, and auto electrical issues promptly.
• Carry out routine, statutory, and periodic inspections, identifying defects in vehicles and ancillary equipment.
• Conduct timely breakdown repairs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records and update the site maintenance management system.
• Support tyre management, battery replacements, and vehicle compliance checks.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and OEM representatives for repairs and parts procurement.
• Ensure compliance with site safety standards, legislation, and roadworthiness requirements.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and ensure tools and equipment are in safe, serviceable condition.
• Contribute to broader maintenance projects as necessary.
• Promote and uphold Endura Mining’s safety culture and environmental policies.
• Complete all required documentation and participate in safety inspections and verification activities.

Qualifications and Skills

• Trade certification as a Light Vehicle Mechanic, Automotive Technician, or comparable qualification.
• Proven experience in maintaining and repairing light vehicles and related equipment.
• Possession of a current manual driver’s license.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle servicing, maintenance, and compliance.
• Dedicated to health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Proficiency with computer use and maintenance management systems.
• Willingness to work operationally required rosters.
