AMWAJ Group of Companies is seeking a Lifeguard in Qatar to oversee swimming areas and help keep guests and staff safe. The position focuses on quick response to water-related situations, steady supervision of pool surroundings, and maintaining a secure, clean, and well-managed aquatic environment.
What you will do
- Watch the pool and nearby areas continuously to help prevent accidents and identify risks early.
- Apply facility rules in a professional manner and support a safe experience for all visitors.
- Carry out routine checks of safety equipment and report any issues that need attention.
- Keep the pool area tidy, orderly, and aligned with hygiene expectations.
- Respond to water emergencies with rescues, first aid, or CPR when required.
- Record incidents accurately and complete the necessary reports.
- Take part in safety drills and emergency readiness activities.
- Work with management and colleagues to maintain strong safety, cleanliness, and service standards.
Qualifications
- A current lifeguard certification from a recognized authority is required, along with valid CPR and first aid credentials.
- You should be able to perform water rescues, provide basic life support, and stay composed during emergencies.
- Strong alertness and attention to detail are needed to monitor swimmers and spot hazards quickly.
- Good communication and guest-handling skills are important for interacting with visitors and coworkers.

- The role requires good physical conditioning for standing for long periods, swimming, and responding to emergencies.
- Knowledge of pool operations, hygiene practices, and safety procedures is beneficial.
- Prior experience in lifeguarding or another safety-oriented role, preferably in hospitality or recreation, is preferred.
