Role Overview
This full-time Life Protection (LP) role is primarily based in Port Harcourt with a hybrid working model allowing some remote work flexibility. The professional will engage prospective and current clients, identifying their financial protection needs and recommending suitable life insurance products. Responsibilities encompass client consultations, product explanation, proposal preparation, documentation management, and consistent follow-up to ensure exceptional client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct personalized consultations with clients to assess and address their life insurance requirements.
- Clearly communicate product features, benefits, and associated terms to customers.
- Prepare and manage proposals and necessary documentation efficiently.
- Maintain accurate client records and update data regularly to support follow-up and service quality.
- Collaborate with team members on marketing and sales campaigns to drive client acquisition.
- Keep updated with new company products, insurance industry trends, and regulatory guidelines.
- Uphold compliance standards, ethical business conduct, and professionalism in all client interactions.
- Achieve set performance targets and contribute positively to team objectives.
Qualifications & Skills
- Ability to build rapport and explain life insurance consultatively based on clients' needs.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills supporting effective client engagement.
- Foundational financial literacy to understand premiums, insurance policies, and benefits.
- Organizational aptitude to manage multiple clients, paperwork, and scheduling follow-ups.
- Proficiency with digital tools and office applications to facilitate reporting, communication, and hybrid working.
- Self-motivated and target-driven mindset with the capacity for both independent and collaborative work.
- Experience in sales, financial services, or insurance sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Tertiary education or equivalent experience in business, finance, marketing, or related areas preferred.
- Strict adherence to ethical standards, regulatory compliance, and dedication to excellent client service.
