Role Overview
This full-time, on-site Licensed Massage Therapist position in Doha, Qatar involves administering therapeutic and body massage services tailored to individual client requirements. Key responsibilities encompass client consultations, tension assessment, application of suitable massage treatments including specialized Shiatsu techniques, and providing advice on stress relief and wellness methods. The role includes maintaining a hygienic and secure treatment area, accurate documentation of sessions, and collaborating with team members to deliver excellent customer service. Professional ethics, adherence to company policies, and fostering a warm, respectful atmosphere for clients and staff are fundamental.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Therapeutic and Body Massage with adaptability to personalized client treatments.
- Experience or readiness to apply Shiatsu or other traditional Asian bodywork techniques.
- Strong customer service aptitude, including effective communication, attentive listening, and client-focused care.
- Understanding of stress management concepts to offer basic relaxation and wellness advice.
- Possession of a valid massage therapy license or certification recognized in Qatar, or eligibility to acquire local credentials.
- Familiarity with hygiene standards, safety protocols, and professional boundaries pertinent to massage therapy.
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends, per client needs.
- Previous experience in spa, wellness centers, or clinical massage environments is advantageous.
- Basic English proficiency; additional languages are considered beneficial.
