Position Overview
The role of LIC Advisor is a part-time, on-site position located in Ludhiana. The incumbent will engage with new and existing clients to ascertain their financial objectives and recommend appropriate life insurance products. Daily tasks include elucidating policy features and benefits, aiding clients in completing paperwork, guiding them through premium payments and claims, and conducting follow-ups to maintain continuous client support.
This position also involves participating in local marketing initiatives, building and regularly updating a client portfolio, and keeping abreast with the latest LIC offerings, regulatory changes, and industry developments. Regular attendance at the Ludhiana office and client sites within the region is mandatory.
Candidate Profile
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to clearly present insurance options and establish rapport with diverse clientele.
- A service-driven approach to address inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure active client follow-up.
- Fundamental knowledge of finance along with an interest in insurance, savings, and investment principles.
- Skills in sales and relationship management, including prospect identification, networking, and client retention over time.
- A self-driven, target-focused attitude enabling independent work and achievement of set goals.
- Familiarity with basic computer and mobile tools required for policy administration, documentation, and communication.
- Educational qualification of at least secondary or higher secondary schooling; degrees in commerce, finance, or business are preferable.
- Previous experience in sales, banking, or financial services is advantageous but not required; training will be offered.
- Readiness to work on-site in Ludhiana and engage with clients face-to-face in the local vicinity.
