About the Role
Maynooth University seeks a part-time Library Assistant (0.5 FTE) to contribute to the Engagement & Information Services team within the library. The incumbent will play a key role in supporting day-to-day library operations, facilitating user services, and promoting engagement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee shelving services and coordinate student shelving activities to maintain systematic arrangement of collections.
- Ensure library resources remain accessible and well-organized at all times.
- Support the library's social media presence and handle digital communication efforts to engage users effectively.
- Deliver exceptional front-line assistance through multiple service channels to assist library users.

Additional Information
The position is governed by the University's statutes and public sector pay regulations, with salary pro-rated for part-time hours (0.5 FTE) ranging between 0,688 and 5,262 annually based on the full salary scale of 1,377 to 5,525 at 16 points.
