Legal Advisor

About the Role

OISSG Consultancy is looking to appoint a Legal Advisor for a governmental project based in Qatar. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise with at least a decade of pertinent legal experience, particularly involving dealings with Qatari governmental institutions. A firm grasp of applicable laws, administrative protocols, and contracting processes is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing legal opinions and drafting detailed memoranda to support governmental operations.
• Preparing, reviewing, and refining contracts and regulations in accordance with local statutes.
• Assisting with administrative investigations by liaising with appropriate authorities.
• Managing dispute resolution processes in collaboration with relevant entities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possession of a bachelor’s or postgraduate law degree.
• Valid professional credentials suitable to the role’s level and responsibilities.
• Proven experience working with Qatari government bodies and familiarity with their legal frameworks.
• Excellent legal drafting and communication skills to effectively convey complex information.
