About Eyewa
Eyewa stands as the leading omnichannel eyewear company across the MENA region, expanding rapidly through a combination of retail stores and a top e-commerce platform throughout the GCC. As the company continues to grow its presence in Saudi Arabia, Eyewa seeks a highly detail-oriented Leasing Coordinator to assist in managing the expanding portfolio of retail stores.
Role Overview
This position requires a meticulous and commercially savvy individual to handle Eyewa's leasing operations within Saudi Arabia. The focus includes lease administration, payment tracking, liaising with landlords, document management, and financial follow-ups concerning the retail portfolio. Close collaboration with Leasing, Finance, Legal, and Retail departments is essential to ensure all lease-related matters, including payments, renewals, and documentation, are handled efficiently and accurately.
This opportunity is particularly well-suited for candidates with backgrounds in Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Collections, or Finance coordination who aspire to transition into retail real estate and leasing.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep comprehensive and accurate records of all leases across Saudi Arabia, including rental details, payment timelines, contract expiration dates, renewal schedules, and obligations.
- Monitor upcoming rental, service charge, and other lease-related payments; work closely with Finance to confirm timely payment processing.
- Conduct follow-ups on outstanding payments, invoices, receipts, and associated documents, coordinating with landlords and internal teams.
- Reconcile lease payment records and promptly identify and escalate discrepancies or unpaid balances.
- Assist the Leasing team with drafting, reviewing, and managing lease agreements, renewals, amendments, and other related documentation.
- Act as a liaison between landlords, mall operators, property managers, and developers on both administrative and financial topics.
- Maintain and update leasing trackers, databases, and filing systems to ensure accuracy and currency of information.
- Keep track of lease expiry dates, renewal deadlines, and other contractual milestones.
- Facilitate the processing and documentation for new leases and store openings including obtaining necessary approvals.
- Assist in handling purchase orders, invoices, payment submissions, and internal workflow approvals associated with the store portfolio.
- Compile and deliver regular leasing and payment status reports for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Retail, Expansion, and Projects teams to address and resolve lease-related issues.
- Provide additional support to the Leasing team through analytical tasks, reporting, and coordination as needed.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Have between 2 to 5 years of experience in Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Finance Operations, Leasing Administration, or similar coordination roles.
- Exhibit strong numerical skills and confidence in handling payments, invoices, reconciliations, and financial data.
- Display exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Be proficient in managing trackers and extensive documentation under strict deadlines.
- Show strong communication and follow-up capabilities when dealing with landlords, suppliers, and internal personnel.
- Demonstrate good proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience in retail, real estate, property management, or managing multi-site operations is desirable.
