About the Role

Join the innovative 2-Hour Learning system, where students complete a full academic day’s curriculum in just two focused hours and engage their creativity and skills through activities like podcasting, mural creation, and gymnastics in the afternoons. As a Learning Specialist, you will be the strategic driver behind this model’s success, working remotely to transform AI-derived performance data into targeted educational actions that ensure each student achieves at least 90% mastery.

You'll address learning obstacles in real time via live coaching, quickly removing barriers and reigniting student momentum and confidence. Through detailed analysis of student performance data, you will discover hidden patterns to unlock learner potential and help develop advanced AI solutions aimed at doubling learning speed.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate precise academic data reports and conduct systematic evaluations to identify issues or anomalies, implementing corrective measures within 48 hours.
• Lead prompt coaching calls and post-assessment discussions to overcome learning hurdles, distinguish between knowledge gaps and simple errors, and maintain student engagement.
• Analyze and incorporate innovative educational tools and resources, while building AI/LLM prototypes to refine learning techniques and overcome specific challenges.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve educational tools, dashboards, and mastery standards as the AI tutoring platform evolves.

What You Will Not Do

• Attend lengthy meetings or give rote presentations disconnected from measurable outcomes.
• Perform traditional tasks like grading, lesson planning, or conventional instruction; our approach is grounded in AI and innovation.
• Work only in a strategic role without hands-on execution or be burdened by repetitive administrative work; this position requires active, agile involvement.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in coaching, training, or instructional roles.
• At least one year of direct, frequent academic coaching for K-8 students in individual or small groups focused on learning habits, motivation, test behavior, self-direction, or executive function routines (exclusive classroom teaching alone is insufficient).
• One year experience combining hands-on data analysis with direct learner support.
• Proficient in Google Sheets or Excel for data tasks including lookups, filters, pivot tables, and charts.
• At least six months using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) professionally to achieve significant work outcomes.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Central Time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in learning science, educational theory, or proven success enhancing results through data-driven methods.
• Experience with Generative AI, prompting, and basic programming skills such as Python or JavaScript for interacting with AI APIs.

Compensation and Work Terms

This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) with immediate start, operating under an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as your Contractor of Record. The pay rate is $30 per hour, equivalent to a yearly salary of $60,000 based on 40-hour workweeks for 50 weeks annually. Compensation is disbursed weekly.
