Learning And Development Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Analyst specializing in Learning & Development (L&D) and Employee Engagement to join the Human Resource Development team at a prominent global banking organization based in Chennai. This role offers involvement in large-scale Core Banking transformation projects, providing interaction with international stakeholders and opportunities for significant career progression.

Role Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end L&D programs including training calendars, training needs identification (TNI/TNA), and collect feedback.
• Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, events, and activities to foster a positive work culture.
• Assist with competency mapping and identifying skill gaps within the workforce.
• Administer vendor management duties such as managing service level agreements (SLAs), vendor coordination, performance tracking, and commercial negotiations.
• Maintain L&D metrics, develop dashboards, and supervise onboarding and induction processes.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Employee Engagement, or related HR functions.
• Practical expertise in training lifecycle processes including TNI/TNA, competency mapping, and engagement frameworks.
• Experience managing third-party vendors encompassing SLA oversight and performance evaluations.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS), ADDIE instructional design methodology, and analytics/visualization skills using Advanced Excel or Power BI.
• Strong communication, presentation, project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement abilities with capability to autonomously handle multiple HR projects.
