About the Role
Pearson seeks an experienced enterprise sales leader to spearhead strategic business growth in Singapore's Enterprise Learning & Skills sector. The role focuses on generating new customer acquisitions, cultivating high-value opportunities, and closing complex deals within enterprise and government markets. You will engage with senior leaders including business executives, HR, talent, workforce transformation teams, and government stakeholders to address workforce, skills, talent, and employability challenges.
Pearson's portfolio includes workforce intelligence solutions (Faethm), talent assessment tools (PDRI, TalentLens), skilling and certification programs, digital credentials (Credly), communication coaching, and language learning resources.
The position offers the chance to significantly expand Pearson’s presence in Singapore and support strategic opportunities in Malaysia and Vietnam.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of strategic enterprise and government accounts with high growth potential.
- Drive acquisition of new clients, expand existing accounts, and boost revenue throughout Singapore.
- Lead complex sales processes from initial discovery to contract signing, including stakeholder mapping, executive engagement, and opportunity strategy.
- Establish relationships with C-suite executives, CHROs, Chief Learning Officers, workforce transformation leaders, and government officials.
- Develop integrated multi-product solutions and commercial proposals leveraging Pearson’s workforce transformation offerings.
- Position Pearson as a trusted advisor in workforce planning, skills intelligence, talent development, and digital credentials.
- Collaborate with clients to align solutions with measurable business outcomes and workforce priorities.
- Coordinate internally with marketing, product specialists, partnerships, customer success, legal, finance, and revenue operations teams.
- Represent Pearson at executive forums, industry events, and key stakeholder meetings.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management, sales forecasting, and governance.
- Share best practices and contribute to the growth of Southeast Asia’s enterprise sales organization.
Required Qualifications
- 8 to 15 years of B2B enterprise sales experience with proven record of acquiring and growing strategic accounts.
- Successful experience selling to large enterprises and government bodies in Singapore.
- Consistent achievement and exceeding of revenue targets.
- Sales background in HR technology, workforce transformation, learning technology, SaaS, talent assessment, certifications, digital transformation, or professional services.
- Expertise in managing complex sales with multiple senior stakeholders.
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, account planning, and executive communication capabilities.
- Experience managing large pipelines with disciplined sales forecasting.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across global and regional teams.
Preferred Attributes
- Existing connections with CHROs, Heads of Talent, Chief Learning Officers, HR transformation leaders, and senior government stakeholders within Singapore.
- Experience engaging sectors such as banking, financial services, telecommunications, technology, healthcare, energy, manufacturing, government, public sector, or multinational enterprises.
- Familiarity with workforce development initiatives like SkillsFuture Singapore and national upskilling programs.
- Experience managing regional or multinational enterprise accounts.
- Proven skill in selling integrated multi-product and enterprise-wide transformation programs.
